Frozen Bottle Roll
Self-release with cryo-massage of the plantar fascia. Combines myofascial release with a local anti-inflammatory effect — indicated after periods of loading.
How to perform
- Starting position. Sit in a chair with the affected foot resting on a frozen water bottle.
- Step 2. Apply moderate pressure and roll the foot forward and backward over the bottle.
- Step 3. Cover the entire sole, from heel to base of the toes.
- Return. Adjust the pressure for comfort.
When not to perform
- Peripheral neuropathy with sensory loss
- Peripheral arterial disease
