Gluteus maximus and erector spinae muscles. Second sacral nerve root.
Needling
Perpendicular insertion directly into the foramen, 0.5–1.0 cun.
Etymology
Ci (次), second; Liao (髎), foramen. Located in the second sacral foramen.
