What is the Acupuncture Atlas?

This interactive atlas brings together the 361 classical points of the 14 main meridians of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Each point includes precise anatomical location, energetic functions according to TCM, evidence-based clinical indications, and needling parameters (depth and angle of insertion).

How to use it

Use the search bar to find points by name (Chinese, pinyin, or English), alphanumeric code (e.g., LI4, ST36), or clinical indication. Filter by body region using the interactive anatomical map or the filter chips. The special filters quickly surface the points with the greatest clinical relevance or those that require particular caution when needling.

Scientific basis

The information is compiled from classical references (Huangdi Neijing, Zhenjiu Jiayi Jing) and contemporary scientific literature, including systematic reviews and WHO guidelines. All content is reviewed by physician acupuncturists with active CRM registration, ensuring clinical accuracy and conformity with medical-acupuncture practice in Brazil.

Which point is right for your case?

Point selection depends on the clinical diagnosis, the meridian involved, and the indicated technique. An in-person medical evaluation guides individualized therapeutic prescription.
