On the chest, in the third intercostal space, 4 cun lateral to the anterior midline.
How to find it (practical)
Seated or supine, locate the point on the vertical line through the nipple, at the middle of the third intercostal space.
Anatomy
Pectoralis major muscle, intercostal muscles. Pectoral nerves.
Needling
Transverse-oblique insertion along the intercostal space 0.5–0.8 cun.
Etymology
Ying (膺), chest; Chuang (窗), window. The point is like a window of the chest.
