On the chest, in the second intercostal space, 4 cun lateral to the anterior midline.
How to find it (practical)
Seated or supine, locate the point on the vertical line through the nipple, at the middle of the second intercostal space.
Anatomy
Pectoralis major and minor muscles, intercostal muscles. Pectoral nerves.
Needling
Transverse-oblique insertion along the intercostal space 0.5–0.8 cun.
Etymology
Wu (屋), room; Yi (翳), covering, secret. The point lies in the upper chest region, beside the breast, like a screen or roof.
