Wrist Flexor Stretch
Stretch of the wrist flexors and the common flexor apparatus. Reduces pressure in the carpal tunnel and complements the neural mobilization.
How to perform
- Starting position. Extend the affected arm in front with the elbow straight and palm up.
- Step 2. With the other hand, pull the fingers toward the floor (wrist extension).
- Step 3. Feel the stretch along the anterior forearm.
- Return. Hold for 30 seconds.
When not to perform
- Acute elbow pain
- Medial epicondylitis in an acute phase
