How to find it (practical)
Supine or seated, locate the point at the junction between the 2nd and 3rd metatarsal bones.
Anatomy
Dorsal interosseous muscle, lumbricals. Innervated by the proper plantar digital nerve and the dorsal digital nerve.
Needling
Perpendicular or oblique insertion in a proximal direction 0.3–0.5 cun.
Etymology
Nei (内), inner; Ting (庭), courtyard. This point lies near Li Dui (ST-45).
