In dorsal recumbency. In the umbilical region, over Tian Shu (ST-25): on the same transverse plane as the umbilicus, 2.0 cun lateral to the anterior median line.

Skin, subcutaneous tissue, abdominal fascia, anterior sheath of the rectus abdominis muscle, rectus abdominis muscle, posterior sheath of the rectus abdominis muscle, transversalis fascia, extraperitoneal adipose tissue, parietal peritoneum. Superficial layer: paraumbilical subcutaneous venous network, anterior and lateral cutaneous branches of the anterior branch of the tenth thoracic nerve with their accompanying arteries and veins. Deep layer: branches or tributaries of the inferior epigastric artery and vein, muscular branches of the anterior branch of the tenth thoracic nerve with the corresponding intercostal artery and vein.
