Seated or in dorsal recumbency. In the anterior antebrachial region, 3.0 cun distal to the midpoint between Shao Hai (HT-3) and Qu Ze (PC-3).

Skin, subcutaneous tissue, antebrachial fascia, aponeurosis of the biceps brachii muscle, flexor carpi radialis muscle, palmaris longus muscle; more deeply, the flexor digitorum profundus muscle. Superficial layer: anterior branch of the medial antebrachial cutaneous nerve, tributaries of the median antebrachial vein and basilic vein. Deep layer: ulnar nerve, ulnar artery and ulnar veins with their branches or tributaries, branch of the median nerve.
