In dorsal decubitus, locate the point 4 cun above the umbilicus, 0.5 cun lateral to the anterior midline, at the level of Zhong Wan (CV-12).

Needling
Perpendicular insertion, 0.5–1.0 cun.
Etymology
Yin (阴), Yin of Yin-Yang; Du (都), to gather. Yin is related to the abdomen and to the Yin meridians. The point lies on the abdomen, where the Kidney Meridian, Foot Shao Yin, and the Chong Mai meet.
