Location (classical)
On the lower abdomen, 2 cun below the umbilicus, 0.5 cun lateral to the anterior midline (at the level of CV-5).
How to find it (practical)
In dorsal decubitus, locate the point 2 cun below the umbilicus, 0.5 cun lateral to the anterior midline, at the level of Shi Men (CV-5).

Rectus abdominis muscle. 11th intercostal nerve.
Needling
Perpendicular insertion, 0.5–1.0 cun.
Etymology
Si (四), four; Man (满), fullness. This is the fourth point of the Kidney Meridian, Foot Shao Yin, located on the abdomen. Indicated in abdominal distension resulting from four causes: hernia, enlargement of the uterus, ascites, and intestinal disorders.
