Location (classical)
On the chest, in the depression immediately below the inferior border of the clavicle, 2 cun lateral to the anterior midline.
How to find it (practical)
Seated or in dorsal decubitus, locate the point in the depression below the medial end of the clavicle, at the midpoint between the sternal and midclavicular lines, 2 cun lateral to the anterior midline.
Anatomy
Pectoralis major muscle, subclavius muscle. Supraclavicular nerves.
Needling
Transverse-oblique insertion, 0.5–0.8 cun.
Etymology
Shu (俞), point; Fu (府), meeting of Qi and Shen. The Qi of the Shen (Kidney) flows to the Fu organs from this point.
