Seated with the head flexed, locate the point below the spinous process of the third thoracic vertebra, 3 cun lateral to Shen Zhu (GV-12).
🔬 Anatomy
Trapezius and rhomboid major muscles.
💉 Needling
Oblique insertion toward the spine, 0.3–0.5 cun.
📜 Etymology
Po (魄), soul; Hu (户), dwelling. The Fei (Lung) houses the soul. The point lies at the level of Fei Shu (BL-13), as a dwelling for the Qi of the Fei (Lung).
