How to find it (practical)
Seated with the foot supported, locate the point 3 cun immediately above Kun Lun (BL-60).
Anatomy
Peroneus brevis and soleus muscles. Innervated by the sural nerve.
Needling
Perpendicular insertion, 0.5–1.0 cun.
Etymology
Fu (跗), tarsus; Yang (阳), the Yang of Yin-Yang. The exterior and the upper are Yang. The point lies above the tarsus and on the lateral aspect of the leg.
